- Inspect the accessory drive system components.
- Repair or replace all damaged components.

Hydraulically locked cylinder
| • | Coolant/antifreeze in cylinder |
|
- Inspect for broken head gasket(s).
- Inspect for cracked engine block or cylinder head.
- Inspect for a sticking fuel injector.

Seized automatic transmission torque converter
|
- Remove the engine assembly. The torque converter bolts are not accessible with the engine installed to the transmission.
- Rotate the crankshaft at the pulley.

Seized manual gearbox
|
- Disengage the clutch.
- Rotate crankshaft at the pulley.
|
Material in cylinder
|
| • | Inspect the cylinder for damaged components and/or foreign materials. |
| • | Repair or replace as required. |
|
Seized crankshaft or big end bearing
|
| • | Inspect the crankshaft and big end bearings. |

Bent or broken connecting rod
