Fluid Pressure Test Hole Plug

Caution: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution in the Preface section.

Procedure

DISCARD the bolt and re-cut transmission pressure test hole thread.

Note: Service may offer plugs that are not microencapsulated. If this is the case apply thread lock agent to the plug. If fastener is microencapsulated, install a NEW fluid pressure test hole plug. DO NOT reuse the old plug.
