Glow Plug Replacement

1. Remove the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement .




Caution: Observe caution when disconnecting the glow plug electrical connector. Use of excessive force may damage the electrical connector.

2. Disconnect the 4 glow plug wiring harness plugs (1).



3. Remove the 4 glow plugs (1).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.




1. Install the 4 glow plugs (1) and tighten to 11 N·m (97 lb in).



2. Connect the 4 glow plug wiring harness plugs (1).
3. Install the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement .
