Fuel Pressure Gauge Installation and Removal

Special Tools

    • EN-50457 Fuel Pressure Gauge
    • EN-50517 Fuel Pressure Gauge Adapter

Removal Procedure

Warning: Refer to Relieving Fuel Pressure Warning in the Preface section.

Warning: Refer to Petrol/Petrol Vapours Warning in the Preface section.

Warning: Refer to Safety Goggles and Fuel Warning in the Preface section.

Disconnect the fuel feed pipe (2) from the fuel injection pump (1) and unclip from the retainer clip. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the EN-50517 Fuel Pressure Gauge Adaptor (2) to the fuel feed line port at position (4) and to the fuel feed pipe (1).
  2. Connect the EN-50457 Fuel Pressure Gauge (3) to the EN-50517 Fuel Pressure Gauge Adapter (2).
  3. Check the fuel leakage.
  4. Remove the EN-50457 Fuel Pressure Gauge (3) from the EN-50517 Fuel Pressure Gauge Adaptor (2).
  5. Remove the EN-50517 Fuel Pressure Gauge Adaptor (2) from the fuel feed line port (4) and from the fuel feed pipe (1).

  7. Connect the fuel feed pipe (2) to the fuel injection pump (1) and clip in to the retainer clip.
  8. Prime the fuel system. Refer to Fuel System Priming .
