Rear Hatch/Gate Description and Operation

This vehicle is equipped with gas struts. The struts support the tailgate suitably when opening the tailgate.

The strut contains high pressure compressed gas. Therefore, be careful not to take apart, puncture, or apply heat or fire, because the strut may explode.
