Synchronisers Cleaning and Inspection

Measure the distance between the synchroniser sleeve and the selector fork. If the distance is over the limit, replace the selector fork.

Specification

    • The standard distance between the synchroniser sleeve and the selector fork is 0.2-0.6 mm (0.008-0.024 in).
    • The allowable distance limit between the synchroniser sleeve and the selector fork is 1.0 mm (0.039 in).
