Preliminary Procedures

1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
2. Remove the tyre and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
3. Without disconnecting the brake calliper hose, remove the brake calliper and bracket as an assembly and support with heavy mechanics wire or equivalent. Refer to Front Brake Caliper Bracket Replacement .
4. Remove the front brake rotor. Refer to Front Brake Rotor Replacement .
