Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the high mount stop lamp. Refer to High Mount Brake lamp Replacement .
2. Detach the nut cover tape.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
5 N·m (44 lb in)
