Blower Motor Control Module Replacement -- Left Hand Drive

Removal Procedure
  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement .
  3. Remove the right side floor air outlet duct. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Right Side : Right Hand Drive → Left Hand Drive .

  4. Remove the heater core pipe side cover screws (1).
  5. Remove the heater core pipe side cover (2).

  6. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  7. Remove the blower motor control module screws (1).
  8. Remove the blower motor control module (2).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the blower motor control module (2).

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the blower motor control module screws (1) and tighten to 1.2 N·m (11 lb in).
  3. Connect the electrical connector.

  4. Install the heater core pipe side cover (2).
  5. Install the heater core pipe side cover screws (1) and tighten to 1.2 N·m (11 lb in).
  6. Install the right side floor air outlet duct. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Right Side : Right Hand Drive → Left Hand Drive .
  7. Install the I/P compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement .
  8. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
