Throttle Body Assembly Replacement - Without FX3

1. Ignition OFF, open the bonnet.
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct (1).
3. Disconnect the PCV pipe (3).
4. Disconnect the throttle cable and wiring harness plug (2).




Note: Observe caution when pouring when removing the throttle body. Close the coolant inlet and outlet hose using a suitable tool.

Note: Close the entrance of the intake manifold after removing the throttle body and ensure dirt does not enter.

5. Disconnect the engine coolant inlet and outlet hose.
6. Remove the throttle body assembly retaining bolt.
7. Remove the throttle body with the gasket.

1. Install the throttle body with the new throttle body gasket.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

2. Tighten the throttle body retaining bolt to 10.5 N·m (93 lb ft).




Note: After connecting the throttle cable, check the throttle valve is closed fully. Check if there is a contact to the accelerator pedal when stopping the engine.

3. Connect the throttle cable and wiring harness plug (2).
4. Connect the engine coolant inlet and outlet hose.
5. Connect the PCV pipe (3).
6. Install the air cleaner outlet duct (1).
