Park/Neutral Position Switch Adjustment

1. Make sure that the transmission manual gear lever is in the neutral position.
2. Position the range selector lever (2) to shift into the neutral position.
3. Loosen the park/neutral position (PNP) switch bolt (4).
4. Insert a 3 mm (0.11 in) pin (drill bit) (1) in the location holes of the PNP switch (3) and the range selector lever.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

5. Install the PNP switch bolts (2) and tighten to 3 N·m (27 lb in).
