Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve Replacement

Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Disconnect the evaporative emission canister purge solenoid valve wiring harness connector.
  3. Disconnect the evaporative emission canister purge solenoid valve inlet and outlet hose.
  4. Remove the evaporative emission canister purge solenoid valve (1) from the bracket.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the evaporative emission canister purge solenoid valve (1) to the bracket.
  2. Connect the evaporative emission canister purge solenoid valve inlet and outlet hose.
  3. Connect the evaporative emission canister purge solenoid valve wiring harness connector.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
