Evaporative Emission Canister Vent Solenoid Valve Replacement

Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  3. Disconnect the evaporative emission canister vent solenoid valve wiring harness connector (1).
  4. Remove the evaporative emission canister vent solenoid valve (2) from the canister.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the evaporative emission canister vent solenoid valve (2) to the canister.
  2. Connect the evaporative emission canister vent solenoid valve wiring harness connector (1).
  3. Lower the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  4. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
