Since the shift solenoid valve A is OFF, pilot pressure is blocked and the shift valve A does not operate. Since the shift solenoid valve B is ON, the shift valve B operates.

Line pressure passes through the manual valve to shift valves A and B, and operates the 2-4 brake servo engagement side and the low clutch in succession.
