Engine/Transmission Mounting - with EN-49802 and EN-50176

Special Tools

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .

1. Install the adapter (3) to EN-49802 cradle support (2).
2. Install the bolts (4).
3. Install the EN-50176 powertrain support pallet (1) to EN-49802 cradle support (2).



4. Support the EN-50176 powertrain support pallet and EN-49802 cradle support with a jack.
5. To secure, install the bolts and nuts to a hole between EN-50176 support pallet, EN-49802 cradle support and a jack.

1. Raise the vehicle to full height. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
2. Remove the front compartment insulator. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Opening Lower Cover Replacement .



3. Position the EN-50176 powertrain support pallet, EN-49802 cradle support with a jack under the powertrain.

Note: Ensure that the 4 pins are fixed in holes of the cradle and the body frame.

4. Observing the 5 points as shown, raise the EN-50176 powertrain support pallet, EN-49802 cradle support with a jack.




Note: Ensure that the 3 locations (1, 2, 3) of EN-50176 powertrain support pallet are seated against the powertrain.

5. Raise the EN-50176 powertrain support pallet with a jack until the point (1), and (2) seats solidly at the bottom of the engine block and the transmission.
6. Turn the supporting (3) upwards until it seats solidly at the front engine hole.




Note: Ensure that the 4 cradle support arms seat solidly at the cradle.

7. Position the 4 cradle support arms of the EN-49802 cradle support cradle support to the point as shown.
8. Turn the support upward until it seats solidly at the cradle.
9. Install the EN-50177 cradle support holder (1).
10. Tighten the bolts (2).



11. Lower the jack and remove it.

1. Support the EN-50176 powertrain support pallet, EN-49802 cradle support with a jack.
2. To secure, install the bolts and nuts to a hole between EN-50176 powertrain support pallet, EN-49802 cradle support and a jack.



3. Remove the EN-50177 cradle support holder (1).
4. Lower a jack and remove the EN-50176 powertrain support pallet (1), and EN-49802 cradle support (2).
