Engine Mount Replacement - with EN-50176

Special Tools

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .

1. Support the engine using special tools. Refer to Engine/Transmission Mounting : with CH-49289 and CH-49290 → with EN-49802 and EN-50176 .




Note: DO not remove power steering fluid hose and coolant hose from power steering fluid reservoir and coolant surge tank.

2. Remove power steering fluid reservoir bolts (1) and unclip power steering fluid reservoir and support it on the engine.
3. Remove the bolts (2).
4. Reposition and retain the coolant surge tank (5) away from the engine mount in order to provide clearance for removal of the engine mount.



5. Remove the engine mount nuts (2).
6. Remove the engine mount bolt (3).
7. Remove the engine mount to body retaining bolts (1).
8. Remove the engine mount (4).

1. Install the engine mount (4).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

2. Install the engine mount to body retaining bolts (1) and tighten to 50 N·m (36 lb ft).
3. Install the bolt (3) and tighten to 58 N·m (43 lb ft).
4. Install the nuts (2) and tighten to 58 N·m (43 lb ft).



5. Install the coolant surge tank (5).
6. Tighten bolts (2) to 9 N·m (80 lb in).
7. Clip power steering fluid reservoir to coolant surge tank.
8. Tighten bolt (1) to 9 N·m (80 lb in).
9. Remove special tools. Refer to Engine/Transmission Mounting : with CH-49289 and CH-49290 → with EN-49802 and EN-50176 .
