Crankshaft and Bearing Removal
Note: Take extreme care to prevent any scratches, nicks or damage to the inner side of the cylinder and bearings.
Note: Check and confirm the sequence of the crankshaft caps and bearings.
- Remove the crankshaft rear oil seal with housing.
- Remove the nuts (2).
- Remove the big end bearing caps (1) and bearing (3).
- Identify the crankshaft bearing caps.
- Remove the 10 bolts (1).
- Remove the crankshaft bearing caps (2).
- Remove the crankshaft bearing cap bearing (3).
- Remove the crankshaft.
