Crankshaft and Bearing Removal

Note: Take extreme care to prevent any scratches, nicks or damage to the inner side of the cylinder and bearings.

Note: Check and confirm the sequence of the crankshaft caps and bearings.

1. Remove the crankshaft rear oil seal with housing.



2. Remove the nuts (2).
3. Remove the big end bearing caps (1) and bearing (3).



4. Identify the crankshaft bearing caps.
5. Remove the 10 bolts (1).
6. Remove the crankshaft bearing caps (2).
7. Remove the crankshaft bearing cap bearing (3).
8. Remove the crankshaft.
