Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal Installation

EN 50171 Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal Installer
For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .
- Position the NEW crankshaft rear oil seal (1).
1.1. | Position the crankshaft rear oil seal in such a way that the crankshaft rear oil seal housing is over the corresponding cut-out on the cylinder block. |
| Note: Do not press in the seal ring all the way. |
1.2. | Slide the crankshaft rear oil seal over the crankshaft. Push, until the crankshaft rear oil seal is flush and sits evenly in the cylinder block. |
- Install the EN 50171 crankshaft rear oil seal installer (1) to the crankshaft.
- Tighten the EN 50171 crankshaft rear oil seal installer to crankshaft retaining bolt (2).
- Using the EN 50171 crankshaft rear oil seal installer, install the crankshaft rear oil seal.
- Remove the EN 50171 crankshaft rear oil seal installer (1).
