Drive Belt Installation

1. Install the water pump-generator belt.
2. Rotate the outer hex of the tensioner nut anti-clockwise and put up the tensioner with a suitable interchangeable head, click-type torque spanner.

Tighten

•	New Belt: 24 N·m (18 lb ft)

•	Used Belt: 17.5 N·m (13 lb ft)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

3. Tighten the inner hex of the tensioner clockwise to 45 N·m (33 lb ft).
