Fuse Block Replacement

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .



2. Unlock the retaining tabs on the fuse block, and open the cover.
3. Remove the positive battery cable nut (1) and the positive battery cable (2) from the battery.



4. Remove fuse plate (1) from fuse block.



5. Remove bolt (1) of wiring harness and remove wiring harness.



6. Remove fuse block housing nut (1).
7. Remove fuse block housing bolt (2) and fuse block housing (3).

1. Install fuse block housing.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

2. Install fuse block housing bolt, tighten to 7 N·m (62 lb in).
3. Install 2 fuse block housing nut, tighten to 7 N·m (6 lb in).
4. Install wiring harness and install bolt, tighten to 6 N·m (53 lb in).
5. Install fuse plate.
6. Install (+) cable and nut, tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
7. Close fuse block.
8. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
