Engine/Transmission Mounting - with CH-49289 and CH-49290

    • CH-49289 Centring Frame
    • CH-49290 Engine Support Tool

Assemble the CH-49290 Engine Support Tool

    Note: The SPX installation manual is supplied with the special tool and is also available online from SPX directly. Go to www.spxtools-shop.com.

  1. Assemble the CH-49290 engine support tool (1) according to the details provided in the SPX installation manual.
  2. Install the torque support (2) to the engine.

Install the CH-49290 Engine Support Tool

  1. Support the CH-904 base frame on a jack.
  2. Support the CH-49290 engine support tool on the CH-904 base frame .

  3. Install the CH-49290 engine support tool (1) according to the details provided in the SPX installation manual.

Assemble the CH-49289 Centring Frame

Assemble the CH-49289 centring frame (1) according to the details provided in the SPX installation manual.

Install the CH-49289 Centring Frame

  1. Support the CH-49289 centring frame on the CH-904 base frame .

  2. Install the CH-49289 centring frame (1) according to the details provided in the SPX installation manual.

Remove the CH-49289 Centring Frame

  1. Remove the CH-49289 centring frame (1).
  2. Remove the CH-49289 centring frame from the CH-904 base frame .

Disassemble the CH-49289 Centring Frame

Remove the CH-49290 Engine Support Tool

  1. Remove the CH-49290 engine support tool (1).
  2. Remove the CH-49290 engine support tool from the CH-904 base frame .
  3. Remove the CH-904 base frame from the jack.

  2. Remove the torque support (2) from the engine.
