Sill Panel Moulding Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the front wheel and wheel assemblies. Refer to Tyre and Wheel Removal and Installation .

  3. Check the front sill panel moulding (1) and the rear sill panel moulding (2).

  4. Remove the front sill panel moulding screws (1).
  5. Remove the front sill panel moulding retaining clips (2).

  6. Check the double-sided adhesive tape (1) and the front sill panel moulding clips (2).
  7. Remove the front sill panel moulding.

  8. Remove the rear sill panel moulding screws (1).
  9. Remove the rear sill panel moulding retaining clips (2).

  10. Check the double-sided adhesive tapes (1) and the rear sill panel moulding clip (2).

Installation Procedure

  1. Attach the new double-sided adhesive tapes (1) and check the moulding clips (2).

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the rear rocker panel moulding screw (1) and tighten to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).
  3. Install the rear sill panel moulding retaining clips (2).

  4. Attach the new double-sided adhesive tape (1) and check the moulding clips (2).

  5. Install the front rocker panel moulding screws (1) and tighten to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).
  6. Install the front sill panel moulding retaining clips (2)..
