Engine Block Assemble

1. Install 3 piston oil nozzles (2).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

2. Install 3 piston oil nozzle bolts (1) and tighten to 9 N·m (80 lb in)




Note: Ensure the NEW engine block core hole plugs are installed to the proper depth.

3. Install 5 NEW engine block core hole plugs (1).
4. Install 2 NEW engine block core hole plugs (2).



5. Install 2 transmission locating pins (2).
6. Install 2 lower crankcase location pins (3).
7. Install 2 cylinder head location pins (1).
