Balancer Shaft Driven Gear Installation

1. Install the balancer shaft driven gear (1) to the balance shaft (2).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Caution: Refer to Torque-to-Yield Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

2. Install a NEW balancer shaft driven gear bolt (3) and tighten to 100 N·m +60° (74 lb ft +60°).



3. Install the sump baffle (1).
4. Install the 5 oil sump baffle bolts (2) and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
