Catalytic Converter Installation

1. Install the catalytic converter gasket (2).
2. Install the catalytic converter (3) to the turbocharger .
3. Pre-install the catalytic converter clamp (1).



4. Install the 2 catalytic converter bracket bolts (2) to the catalytic converter (1) and catalytic converter bracket.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

5. Tighten the catalytic converter clamp to 22 N·m (16 lb ft).
6. Tighten the 2 catalytic converter bracket bolts (2) to 22 N·m (16 lb ft).
