Speedometer Driven Gear Replacement

Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the speedometer driven gear (2).

  2. Remove the speedometer bolt (2).
  3. Remove the speedometer driven gear (1).

Installation Procedure

  1. Coat the speedometer driven gear washer with speedometer driven gear lubricant.
  2. Install the speedometer driven gear (1).

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the speedometer bolt and tighten to 4 N·m (36 lb in).

  4. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the speedometer driven gear (2).
