Charge Air Cooler Inlet Hose Replacement - 2.0L Diesel LLW

Removal Procedure
  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .

  3. Remove the charge air cooler inlet hose bolt (1).

  4. Remove the charge air cooler inlet hose clamp bolt (1).

  5. Remove the charge air cooler inlet hose clamp (3).
  6. Remove the charge air cooler inlet hose (2) from the turbocharger (1).

  7. Remove the charge air cooler inlet hose (1) from the radiator (2).

  8. Remove the charge air cooler inlet hose (1).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the charge air cooler inlet hose (1).

  2. Install the charge air cooler inlet hose (1) to the Radiator (2).

  3. Install the charge air cooler inlet hose (2) to the turbocharger (1).
  4. Install the charge air cooler inlet hose clamp (3).

    5. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  5. Install the charge air cooler inlet hose clamp bolt (1) and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  6. Install the charge air cooler inlet hose bolts (1) and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
  7. Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .
  8. Lower the vehicle.
