Inlet Air Pressure and Temperature Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .

  3. Disconnect the fuel pressure sensor wiring harness plug (1) from the fuel rail.
  4. Disconnect the inlet air temperature sensor wiring harness plug (3).
  5. Unclip the wiring harness channel (4) from the 2 brackets (2).

  6. Remove the inlet air temperature sensor bolt (2).
  7. Remove the inlet air temperature sensor (1) from the inlet manifold (3).

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Install the inlet air temperature sensor bolt (2) and tighten to 8 N·m (71 lb in).
  2. Install the inlet air temperature sensor (1) at the inlet manifold (3).

  3. Clip the wiring harness channel (4) at the 2 brackets (2).
  4. Connect the inlet air temperature sensor wiring harness plug (3).
  5. Connect the fuel pressure sensor wiring harness plug (1) at the fuel rail.
  6. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  7. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
