Exhaust Temperature Sensor Replacement - Position 1

Warning: Refer to Exhaust Service Warning in the Preface section.

Warning: Refer to Protective Goggles and Glove Warning in the Preface section.

1. Remove the front compartment insulator. Refer to Front Compartment Insulator Replacement .



2. Disconnect the exhaust temperature sensor wiring harness plug (2).
3. Unclip the exhaust temperature sensor wiring harness (1) from bracket.
4. Remove the exhaust temperature sensor - position 1 (3).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.




1. Install the exhaust temperature sensor - position 1 (3) and tighten to 45 N·m (34 lb ft).
2. Clip in the exhaust temperature sensor wiring harness (1) to the bracket.
3. Connect the exhaust temperature sensor wiring harness plug (2).
4. Install the front compartment insulator. Refer to Front Compartment Insulator Replacement .
