Catalytic Converter Installation

1. Install the catalytic converter clamp (1).
2. Install the catalytic converter (2).
3. Attach the catalytic converter clamp (1).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

4. Install the catalytic converter bracket bolt (3) and tighten to 40 N·m (30 lb ft).
5. Tighten the catalytic converter clamp (1) to 10 N·m (89 lb in).



6. Install the catalytic converter heat shield (2).
7. Install the 2 catalytic converter heat shield nuts (3) and tighten to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).
8. Install the catalytic converter heat shield bolt (1) and tighten to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).
