Camshaft Position Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .

  2. Disconnect camshaft position sensor wiring harness plug.
  3. Remove the camshaft position sensor bolt (2).
  4. Remove the camshaft position sensor (1).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the camshaft position sensor (1).

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the camshaft position sensor bolt (2) and tighten to 7 N·m (62 lb in).
  3. Connect the camshaft position sensor wiring harness plug.
  4. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
