Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .
2. Remove the radiator grille support reinforcement. Refer to Radiator Grille Reinforcement Support Replacement .

Bonnet Primary and Secondary Latch Retainer Bolt (Qty: 2)

Caution : Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
20 N·m(15 lb ft).

Bonnet Primary and Secondary Catch

Procedure

1. To release the bonnet primary and secondary latch unhook the bonnet primary latch release cable.
2. Disconnect electrical connectors as needed.
