Preliminary Procedures

1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
2. Remove the instrument panel compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement .
3. Remove the floor air outlet duct - left side. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Left Side : Right Hand Drive → Left Hand Drive .
4. Remove the radio cooling duct. Refer to Radio Cooling Duct Replacement : Right Hand Drive → Left Hand Drive .

Temperature Valve Actuator Bolt (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
2.5 N·m (22 lb in)

Procedure

1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
2. For recalibration of the temperature valve actuator, refer to Actuator Recalibration .
