Fuel Feed Pipe Replacement

EN-807 Closure Plugs

1. Open the bonnet.
2. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .



3. Unclip the fuel feed pipe (1) from the fuel feed pipe clip.
4. Release and remove the fuel feed pipe (1) from the fuel rail.
5. Close the fuel feed pipe and the fuel rail with the EN 807 plugs.



6. Remove the exhaust pipe front hanger bolts (2).
7. Remove and DISCARD the frame rear bolt (3).
8. Remove the frame reinforcement.



9. Unclip the fuel feed pipe (1) from the 4 bracket clips (2).



10. Unclip the fuel feed pipe (3) from the rear bracket clip (2).
11. Disconnect the fuel feed pipe (3) from the fuel feed pipe connector (1).
12. Remove the fuel feed pipe (3).
13. Close the fuel feed pipe and the fuel feed pipe connector with the EN 807 plugs.

1. Remove the EN 807 plugs.



2. Install the fuel feed pipe (3).
3. Connect the fuel feed pipe (3) to the fuel feed pipe connector (1).
4. Clip in the fuel feed pipe (3) to the rear bracket clip (2).



5. Clip in the fuel feed pipe (1) to the 4 bracket clips (2).



6. Install the frame reinforcements.

Warning: Refer to Torque-to-Yield Fastener Warning in the Preface section.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Note: Do NOT reuse old bolts.

7. Install the NEW frame rear bolt (3) and tighten to 160 N·m (118 lb ft).
8. Install the exhaust pipe front hanger bolts (2) and tighten to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).
9. Remove the EN 807 plugs.



10. Install the fuel feed pipe (1) to the fuel rail.
11. Clip in the fuel feed front pipe (1) to the fuel feed pipe clip.
12. Connect the battery negative cableBattery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
13. Close the bonnet.
