Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose Replacement - 1.6L LXT,L2W

1. Open the bonnet.
2. Remove the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement .
3. Place collecting basin underneath.



4. Remove the engine coolant air bleed hose clamp (2) from the throttle body (6).
5. Remove the engine coolant air bleed hose clamp (3) from the thermostat housing (4).
6. Remove the engine coolant air bleed hose (1) from the retainer clips (5).

1. Install the engine coolant air bleed hose (1) to the retainer clips (5).
2. Install the engine coolant air bleed hose clamp (3) to the thermostat housing (4).
3. Install the engine coolant air bleed hose clamp (2) to the throttle body (6).
4. Check and correct the cooling fluid level in the radiator surge tank.
5. Install the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement
6. Close the bonnet.
