Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose/Pipe Replacement - 1.6L LXT,L2W

1. Open the bonnet.
2. Remove the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement .
3. Place collecting basin underneath.



4. Remove the throttle body heater outlet hose clamp (1) from the throttle body (5).
5. Remove the throttle body heater outlet hose clamp (3) from the surge tank (4).
6. Remove the throttle body heater outlet hose (2).

1. Install the throttle body heater outlet hose (2).
2. Install the throttle body heater outlet hose clamp (3) to the surge tank (4).
3. Install the throttle body heater outlet hose clamp (1) to the throttle body (5).
4. Check and correct the cooling fluid level in the radiator surge tank.
5. Install the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement
6. Close the bonnet.
