Exhaust Gas Recirculation Pipe Installation

1. Install the 2 NEW exhaust gas recirculation pipe seals (2, 6).
2. Install the exhaust gas recirculation pipe (4).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

3. Install the 2 exhaust gas recirculation pipe nuts (5) to the exhaust gas recirculation valve adapter and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in)..
4. Install the 2 exhaust gas recirculation pipe bolts (3) to the intake manifold and tighten to 8 N·m (71 lb in).
5. Install the 2 exhaust gas recirculation pipe bolts (1) to the intake manifold and tighten to 12 N·m (106 lb in).
