Timing Chain Tensioner Replacement

EN-49073 Pin - Timing Chain Tensioner
For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .
Removal Procedure
- Remove the engine front cover. Refer to Engine Front Cover Replacement .
- Apply tension to the timing chain tensioner (1). Fix the tensioner with the EN-49073 pin .
- Remove the 2 timing chain tensioner retaining bolts (2).
- Remove the timing chain tensioner (1).
Installation Procedure
- Apply tension to the timing chain tensioner and fix with the EN-49073 pin .
- Install the timing chain tensioner (1).
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.
- Install 2 timing chain tensioner retaining bolts (2). Tighten the retaining bolts (2) to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
- Remove the EN-49073 pin .
- Install the engine front cover. Refer to Engine Front Cover Replacement .
