Preliminary Procedures

1. If needed remove front compartment insulator. Refer to Front Compartment Insulator Replacement .
2. If needed remove front compartment splash shield. Refer to Front Compartment Splash Shield Replacement .

Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Bolt

Caution : Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tip
Do NOT reuse the old bolt.

Tighten
160 N·m (118 lb ft)

Front Bumper Lower Stiffener Bolt

Tighten
25 N·m (18 lb ft)

Procedure

Only loosen the bolt.

Front Bumper Energy Absorber Bracket

Procedure

Secure the drivetrain and front suspension frame with hydraulic jack.
