    • EN-46116 Installer - Stem Seal

  1. Remove the 16 valve rocker arms (1) along with 16 hydraulic valve clearance adjusters (2).

    Note: The EN-48247 adaptor (2) must be aligned vertically to the valve spring caps.

  3. Install the EN-46569 compressor (1) with the EN-48247 compression adaptor (2) to remove the valve assembly.

  5. Press down the valve spring (3) and the valve spring cap (2) with the EN-46569 compressor and the EN-48247 compression adaptor until the valve keys (1) are released from the spring load.
  6. Note: Set the parts aside in order removed to ensure they will be installed in their original positions.

  7. Remove the valve stem keys (1).
  8. Release tension from the valve spring. Remove the EN-46569 compressor with EN-48247 compression adaptor .
  9. Remove the valve spring retainer (2).
  10. Remove the valve spring.
  11. Remove the valve (4).
  12. Repeat the steps for each other valve assembly.

    Note: Set the oil stem seals aside in order removed to ensure they will be installed in their original positions.

  14. Remove the 16 valve stem oil seals, using the EN-46116 installer - stem seal (1).
