Input Shaft Disassemble

Special Tools

DT-46494 Gear, Bearing Removal Tool

Refer to Special Tools for the equivalent local tools.

1. Remove the gear unit. Refer to Transmission Disassemble .
2. Position the bearing to the DT-46494 gear, bearing removal tool (2) to the right bearing.
3. Remove the input shaft right bearing (1) using a press.



4. Position the 4th gear to the DT-46494 gear, bearing removal tool (4).
5. Remove the 5th gear spacer (1), left bearing (2), and 4 gear (3) with the press.



6. Remove the 4th gear bearing (1).
7. Remove the 4 gear synchroniser ring (2).
8. Remove the 3rd-4th synchroniser circlip (3).



9. Position the 3rd gear to the DT-46494 gear, bearing removal tool (3).
10. Remove the 3rd-4th synchroniser hub assembly (1) synchroniser ring and 3rd gear (2) with the press.



11. Push the hub (1) from the 3rd-4th synchroniser hub assembly
12. Remove the synchroniser sleeve (2) and key unit (3).



13. Remove the input shaft 3rd gear bearing (1).
