Preliminary Procedures

1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
2. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
3. Remove the front bumper fascia opening lower cover. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Opening Lower Cover Replacement .
4. Remove the headlamp - right side. Refer to Headlamp Replacement .
5. Remove the plenum lower panel. Refer to Plenum Lower Panel Replacement .
6. Put aside the power steering fluid reservoir and radiator surge tank after removing the screws. Refer to Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Replacement and Radiator Surge Tank Replacement .
7. Disconnect the left rear (LR) and right rear (RR) brake pipes from the brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV). Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Replacement .
8. Disconnect the A/C refrigerant pressure sensor electrical connector.

20 N·m (15 lb ft)

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb ft)

Air Conditioning Evaporator Hose Assembly Bolt to Air Conditioning Compressor (Qty: 1)

Tighten
22 N·m (16 lb ft)

Air Conditioning Evaporator Hose Assembly Mounting Bracket Nut (Qty: 2)

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)
