Preliminary Procedures

1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
2. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
3. Disconnect the radiator inlet and outlet hoses from the radiator. Refer to Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement and Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement .
4. Remove the engine coolant fan. Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Replacement .

Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Nut (Qty: 1)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Procedure

Disconnect the air conditioning compressor and condenser hose from the A/C condenser.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Air Conditioning Evaporator Hose Assembly Nut to Air Conditioning Condenser (Qty: 1)

Procedure

Disconnect the air conditioning evaporator hose assembly from the A/C condenser.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Radiator Support Mounting Bolt (Qty: 4)

Tip
Rotate the radiator support to tilt the radiator when removing the condenser.

Tighten
22 N·m (16 lb ft)
