Temperature Valve Link Replacement -- Right-Hand Drive

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) compartment. Refer to Steering Column Opening Filler Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the temperature control cable from the air conditioning (A/C) evaporator and blower module assembly. Refer to Temperature Control Cable Replacement : Right-Hand Drive → Left-Hand Drive .

  3. Remove the temperature cable link screw (1).
  4. Remove the temperature cable link (2).

  5. Remove the temperature valve link screw (1).
  6. Remove the temperature valve link (2).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the temperature valve link (2).

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the temperature valve link screw (1) and tighten to 1.2 N·m (11 lb in).

  3. Install the temperature cable link (2).
  4. Install the temperature cable link screw (1) and tighten to 1.2 N·m (11 lb in).
  5. Connect the temperature control cable to the A/C evaporator and blower module assembly. Refer to Temperature Control Cable Replacement : Right-Hand Drive → Left-Hand Drive .
  6. Install the I/P compartment. Refer to Steering Column Opening Filler Replacement .
