Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) compartment. Refer to Steering Column Opening Filler Replacement .
2. Disconnect the mode control cable from the heater and air conditioning (A/C) control. Refer to Heater and Air Conditioning Control Replacement : Right-Hand Drive → Left-Hand Drive .

Mode Control Cable

Procedure

1. Disconnect the cable eyelet from the mode valve link.
2. Disconnect the mode control cable from the mode control cable retainer.
