DT-47527 High Clutch Spring Compressor
For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .
- Remove the snap ring (1).
- Remove the retaining plate (2), 3 friction plates (3) and 3 separator plates (4) from the high clutch drum (5).
Note: Do not apply undue stress to the spring retainer.
- Depress the spring retainer (2) using DT-47527 compressor (4) and the press and remove the circlip (1).
- Remove the spring retainer (2) and the return spring (3).
Note: Air must be blown gradually at low pressure so as not to tilt high clutch piston. If the piston is hard to remove by blowing air with an air gun (1), pull it out using pliers.
- Blow air into the oil inlet of the high clutch drum (2) to drive out the high clutch piston (3).
- Remove the high clutch piston and the O-rings (4).
