Preliminary Procedure Open the liftgate.
1	Tailgate Lock Striker Screw (Qty: 2) Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section. Tighten 20 N·m (15 lb ft)
2	Tailgate Lock Striker Procedure Disconnect the lock cable.
