Automatic Transmission Flex Plate Installation

EN 50050 Crankshaft Locking Device

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .

  1. Install the automatic transmission flex plate (1).
  2. Install the 6 automatic transmission flex plate bolts (2).

    3. 2308806
  3. Install the EN 50050 crankshaft locking device and lock the flywheel via the starter ring gear.

    4. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  4. Tighten the 6 automatic transmission flex plate bolts to 20 N·m + 25° (15 lb ft + 25°).
  5. Remove the EN 50050 crankshaft locking device .
