1. Wiper Washer Inoperative 2. Wiper Washer Always On |
The wiper washer pump operation is controlled by supplying ignition voltage through the wiper switch to the wiper washer pump control circuits. Ignition voltage is supplied though the WIPER, REAR fuse.
Wiper/Washer System Description and Operation
⇒ | If the front windscreen wipers do not operate, refer to Windscreen Wiper System Malfunction . |
⇒ | If the rear window wiper does not operate, refer to Rear Wiper System Malfunction . |
⇒ | If the wiper washer does not operate, refer to Washer Malfunction . |
⇒ | If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the ignition circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. |
⇒ | If greater than the specified range, test the ground circuit for an open/high resistance. |
⇒ | If the test lamp is always ON, test the control circuit for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, replace the wiper switch. |
⇒ | If the test lamp is always OFF, test the control circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the wiper switch. |
⇒ | If all circuits test normal replace the appropriate wiper washer pump. |
