Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the rear window wiper arms. Refer to Rear Window Wiper Arm Replacement .
2. Remove the tailgate trim panel. Refer to Tailgate Trim Panel Replacement .
3. Disconnect the wiper motor connector.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
8 N·m (71 lb in)
